Travel to Grayrigg leaving Kendal on the A685 (also known as the Appleby/Tebay Road) – travel past Morrisons supermarket (on your left) and drive for four miles.
You will come to Grayrigg village (you will know this as there is the 30 mile an hour sign). There is a church on your left, slow right down here and take the left turning next to the church.
Travel down the lane, passing the farm house on your left. Then crossing over the cattle grid and over the small bridge, bearing left off this bridge. You are then traveling through a field which ends with another cattle grid.
This brings you back onto a country lane. You will pass Low Deep Slack on your right, quarter of a mile further on you will pass Fell Side Cottage (has a nice glass verandah porch) on your left.
Continue for half a mile and you will come to the cross roads, (right turn is a dead end) continue straight over the cross roads for another quarter of a mile and you will come to us on the right.
Coming from Kendal, when you reach Grayrigg village, take the left turning next to the church. Travel down the lane, crossing over the cattle grid and small bridge, bearing left.
Meeting another cattle grid brings you onto a country lane. Continue for 3/4 mile where you will come to a cross roads. Continue straight for another 1/4 mile and you will find us on yourright.
